You can share files with a link right from your iCloud Drive.
So why would you use this?
Well when sending files to non-Apple users, they won’t get the file. So sending them a link they can click on and download no problem! Now if you’re a software developer and you want to share large files, instead of having an iCloud and a Google Drive 2TB subscription, choosing iCloud would make this convenient to share over 24MB files.
Requirements?
Depending on the size of files you share. It needs to fit into your iCloud Storage. By default without paying, you get a free 5GB of iCloud when you make an Apple ID, you can choose plans to buy for iCloud Storage.
